Song of Preparation Ancient of Days
Call to Worship Psalm
47
1 Clap your hands, all peoples!
Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
2 For the LORD, the
Most High, is to be feared,
a great king over all the earth.
3 He subdued peoples
under us,
and nations under our feet.
4 He chose our
heritage for us,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah
5 God has gone up
with a shout,
the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to
God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7 For God is the
King of all the earth;
sing praises with a psalm!
8 God reigns over
the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
9 The princes of the
peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!

Confession of Sin Psalm
130
1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD!
2 O Lord, hear my
voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
3 If you, O LORD,
should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there
is forgiveness,
that you may be feared.
5 I wait for the
LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
6 my soul waits for
the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
7 O Israel, hope in
the LORD!
For with the LORD there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption.
8 And he will redeem
Israel
from all his iniquities.

Assurance of Pardon Isaiah
44: 21, 22, 23b, & 24a
21 Remember these
things, O Jacob,
and Israel, for you are my servant;
I formed you; you are my servant;
O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.
22 I have blotted
out your transgressions like a cloud
and your sins like mist;
For the LORD has redeemed Jacob,
and will be glorified in Israel.
24 Thus says the
LORD, your Redeemer,
who formed you from the womb:
return to me, for I have redeemed you.

Sermon Scripture Revelation
22:6-21
6 And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true.
And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to
show his servants what must soon take place.”
7 “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who
keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And
when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who
showed them to me, 9 but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow
servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the
words of this book. Worship God.”
10 And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the
prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 Let the evildoer still do evil,
and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy
still be holy.”
12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with
me, to repay each one for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may
have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the
gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and
murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about
these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the
bright morning star.”
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one
who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who
desires take the water of life without price.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of
this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in
this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this
prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy
city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am
coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

Benediction
20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead
our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal
covenant, 21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working
in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be
glory forever and ever. Amen.
